Our story begins with two branches of services to assist you. The Alabama – West Florida United Methodist Foundation partners with churches in the United Methodist Conference by training, providing resources, and guiding churches through our Christian financial planning and investment services. The Development Fund offers deposit options for donors as well as providing loans to churches and agencies in our conference.
We want to see your church and ministries grow and flourish. Let us help you plan and implement an endowment fund, take out a loan for a building expansion, grant scholarships to students in Christian studies, create strategies for your congregation to give back to your church, and more.
No matter where you are in the process, our staff is here for you. We can meet with you to answer questions, give you resources and marketing ideas, offer workshops and training seminars, and give information to help you and your church succeed. Development Fund Services
Our Development Fund was created with the interest of churches in mind. Individuals, organizations, and churches in the AWF Conference can deposit funds into this account. Churches and agencies in our conference can apply for loans for new church construction, purchasing property, and major renovation projects.
- Deposit accounts for churches or individuals (1.0%)
- Church loans up to $1 million (3.5%)
