Strategies for Capital Campaigns: Raising Funds for Your Church’s God-inspired Vision

Strategies for Capital Campaigns: Raising Funds for Your Church’s God-inspired Vision • November 2022 (Online Workshop)

It can be overwhelming to think about chasing down the necessary resources with a capital campaign, but the means to support your vision are within your grasp.

If your church is considering a building expansion or repairs, multi-site initiative, paying off debt, technological upgrades, increasing ministry programming or staff, etc., a capital campaign might be right for you. The infusion of major cash from a capital campaign can help keep the momentum of your next God-inspired project going and make your vision for ministry a reality.

During this webinar, Chris Stovall, Generis, will share tips for starting and maintaining a successful capital campaign within your current context and ways he can work with your church if you would like to go deeper.

Terri Turner, The Methodist Foundation, will share several giving tips and options to boost capital campaign contributions with stocks and bonds, QCDs, donor advised funds, etc., and how the Foundation can walk alongside you to help you encourage and accept these gifts.

For those who would like to go more in depth with a consultant, Chris will take about 5 minutes at the end of the webinar to share about Generis’ customized approach to capital campaigns to help you assess, rethink and reframe your current reality, allowing you to reach your specific goals while also establishing a foundation for increased generosity overall.
