Our Spring 2026 Board of Directors Meeting was held in the beautiful Parlor at Dothan First United Methodist Church in May. These bi-annual gatherings offer a wonderful opportunity to connect with leadership, celebrate the Foundation’s work across Alabama and Florida, and discuss current and future ministries and services.
It was honor to recognize longtime Board Member Mike Tucker for over 27 years of faithful service and dedication to the Foundation’s mission and ministry.
This meeting also held special significance as Board President Laureen Lynn, on behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, presented Terri Turner with a plaque honoring her 35+ years of faithful leadership and ministry as Executive Director — a legacy that will continue shaping lives and ministries for generations to come. Terri’s dedication and guidance have touched countless churches and lives throughout our Conference and beyond, and we wish her every blessing in retirement.
Thank you to our Board of Directors and to all the churches, organizations, and individuals we serve through the Foundation’s ministry of generosity. We look forward to a bright future under the continued leadership of our Board and our incoming Executive Director, Billy McCarthy.
