“As an undergraduate attending Florida Southern College, I began to intentionally reflect on my potential call to ministry. With the aid of the United Methodist Foundation’s scholarship fund, I formally began a period of discernment as a Certified Candidate for Ordination in 2021. Now, I have completed my first year of seminary at Harvard Divinity School and am continuing to articulate my passion for sharing God’s love and the ways this passion may be lived out working in academia, the UMC general agencies, and other settings. I am thankful for every person who has invested in this journey and made it possible for me to embrace my call without obstacles.” – Grace Sill
