Speakers

Ann A. Michel

Dr. Ann A. Michel is a seminary-educated layperson who has served in professional ministry since 1994. She recently retired from the staff of the Lewis Center for Church Leadership where she served for 20 years, first as Associate Director and later as a Senior Consultant and a co-editor of the Lewis Center’s online newsletter, Leading Ideas. She has also taught at Wesley Theological Seminary in the areas of leadership and stewardship. She has written or co-written several books, including Synergy: A Leadership Guide for Church Staff and Volunteers (Abingdon Press, 2017) and Generosity Stewardship and Abundance (Rowman and Littlefield, 2021) with Lovett H. Weems, Jr.
